The spring weather has FINALLY arrived in Burlington and I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that it is here to stay! We've gotten a few rainy moments over the past few days, but this weekend was absolutely beautiful and I was so glad there was a fun event going on so we were able to enjoy the outdoors all day. I'm not sure if you remember my A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS posts about Burlington, but I included Foam Brewers as a place to go when you are in town. This weekend they celebrated their second anniversary with "Another Trip Around The Sun." Friday and Saturday were filled with massive can and bottle releases, live music, and food trucks. Craft beer is a big part of Vermont culture so it was really cool to try all of the new releases before they inevitably sold out!
Along with a unique lineup of Foam Brewers beer from the past and present on draft, they released a few new beers each day with the usual per person limits, including some super limited House of Fermentology brews. Check out this amazing variety - my personal favorite out of all the releases was The Fruit That Ate Itself and I also sampled some beers from the outside bar. I usually being Saison de Foam and Stay Forever).

House of Fermentology Pop Dot** 8. House of Fermentology Yellow Dot** *We have 50 cases of each canned beer alloted for each day. We will start with a limit of 3x 4packs per person, per beer. Depending on turn out, we may drop the limit part way through the release in order to meet demand. **Due to extremely limited quantities of these bottles, and the desire to share them with as many people as possible, we are limiting purchases to 1 bottle per person, per beer.
There were also some amazing local food vendors on site to keep the crowd well fed and absorb all of that alcohol! Caja Madera, Farmers and Foragers, Pie Empire, and A Single Pebble all came out with food trucks and the best of their best. I opted for the Vermont Cheesesteak from Farmers and Foragers but also got to sample their Pork Belly Bahn Mi which was equally as delicious.
You can't forget about the LIVE MUSIC - which is basically the reason I ever leave my house! I was too busy enjoying the local bands to take photos or videos, but some of my favorites were Nico Suave and the Bodacious Supreme, The Mangroves, and Ellen Degenerates. Here is the full lineup:

It was definitely a nice treat to be able to enjoy some delicious local food and live music while sipping on even more delicious beers in the sunshine. It really makes me excited for summer in Burlington!
