One of our favorite parts about our visit to Aruba was all of the delicious food we ate! Our favorite restaurant we visited on our trip was definitely El Faro Blanco Restaurant! It was one of my favorite evenings of the whole trip - the setting was absolutely beautiful and really reminded me of a trip I went on to Italy when I was younger - which is so appropriate because they serve the most DELICIOUS Italian food!
El Faro Blanco Restaurant has been offering Italian food on Aruba for over 20 years and Chef Castillo even studied cooking in Calabria, Italy! Aruba Tourism was gracious enough to set up a gorgeous table for us overlooking the north end of the island right at sunset! We started the evening by heading to the California Lighthouse, which is right outside of the restaurant and a great place for photo-ops of the whole island and coastline! Once our table was ready we began with a bottle of Rosé and appetizers of Bruschetta, Calamari Fritti and Insalata Cesare. For our main courses we all decided to get something different: Salmone alla Faro Blanco, Pollo alla Parmagiana, Linguine allo Scoglio, and Gnocchi di Patate al Pomodoro, Basilico, Mozzarella e Pollo. The service was incredible and our waiter Edickson was so great to offer us recommendations throughout the evening!
While wining and dining we watched the sunset over the coast, listening to beautiful music and having lovely conversation. It truly was such a magical evening and I thank Aruba Tourism and El Faro Blanco Restaurant for having us!
